メキシコ湾がアメリカ湾に？新しい湾ができたのかと思ったさ～

「メキシコ湾」が「アメリカ湾」に！？トランプ大統領の署名が話題になっているさ〜
今朝のGoogleトレンドで「メキシコ湾 アメリカ湾」が上がってたわけ。
なんでこんなキーワードが話題になったかと言うと、アメリカのトランプ大統領が「メキシコ湾」の名前を「アメリカ湾」に変更するっていう大統領令に署名してさ、それに伴ってか、グーグルマップ上でも名称に変更があったからなわけ。
そもそもなぜトランプ大統領は「アメリカ湾」に変えたいのか？
トランプ大統領は、記者会見で「そこで仕事をしているのはほとんど我々であり、我々のものだ」と発言したわけ。
確かにメキシコ湾は、アメリカ南部の5州（テキサス、ルイジアナ、ミシシッピ、アラバマ、フロリダ）の経済にとって重要な場所で、アメリカの石油生産の14%を占めているんだわけさ〜。
でも、それだけで名前を変えちゃうのは、ちょっと強引な気もするわけさぁ。
実は、これは単なる地名の変更というより、トランプ大統領が強く押し出している「アメリカ第一主義」の一環だと言われているさ〜。
彼は「アメリカの偉大さを取り戻す」として、歴史的な名称の「回復」を推進しているわけな〜。
同じように、オバマ政権時代にアラスカ州の最高峰が「デナリ」に改名されたのを、元の「マッキンリー」に戻すよう指示しているさ〜。
メキシコ政府の反応と今後の関係はどうなるのか？
シェインバウム大統領は「メキシコ湾は今もメキシコ湾のままだ」と明言しているし、国際的にはこの名称が受け入れられる可能性はどんなものだろうねぇ。
実際、国際社会では地名を変えるのは簡単なことじゃないし、アメリカが国内で「アメリカ湾」と呼んだとしても、他の国もそれが浸透するのかはわからんさぁ〜。
おじいのつぶやき：地球は地球なわけさ〜
おじいはね、このニュースを聞いてちょっと不安に思ったさ〜。
国の名前や地名を変えることで、何かを取り戻した気になるのかもしれんけど、
そもそも海も土地も、人間が勝手に線を引いて分けただけで、地球そのものは変わらんわけさ。
メキシコ湾を「アメリカ湾」と呼んでも、潮の流れも、波の音も変わらんさ〜。
おじいたちは、もう少し広い視野で、地球のことを考えんといけんはずよ〜。
「この海は誰のものか？」じゃなくて、「この地球をどう守るか？」を話し合う時代にならんといけんし、人々が豊かに暮らす状況を脅かしてしまうのはよくないわけさぁな〜。
おじいはさ、その土地の恵みを受けて、根付く人々は国土や、肌や目の色で境界線を作るのではなく、いちゃりばちょーでー（一度会えばみな兄弟）の沖縄の文化がもう少し広がると嬉しいさぁ。
そうしたら国土の問題とかさ、減らんかねぇ？

ところで、ISCOから大事なお知らせがあるさ〜。
現在、那覇市銘苅（IT創造館）と那覇市小禄（産業支援センター）にある事務所を、業務の効率化とサービス向上のために、令和7年3月末をもって移転・統合することになったわけ。
新しい事務所は、那覇市旭町の金秀ビル東館2階に移るんだよ〜。
ゆいレール「旭橋」駅から徒歩7分、「旭町」バス停から徒歩1分と、アクセスも便利だわけさ〜。
新事務所での業務開始は、2025年4月14日（月）からだわけ。
移転作業のため、4月1日（月）から4月12日（金）の間は、一部業務に影響が出る可能性があるから、みんなにはご迷惑をおかけするかもしれないけど、何卒ご了承くださいね〜。
